Kerrang magazine not only has lots of pictures on their cover but also on their contents page as well. They have ten pictures in total, including a picture of the editor which is also has a piece written by the editor herself. A couple of the pictures are thumbnail pictures of the articles featured inside the magazine. One picture of a band member, from Bring Me the Horizon, signing items for fans takes up half the page at the top. There is also a picture of an new album which is featured later on the magazine with a review and we can see there is poster special of a certain band in this week’s issue because there is a picture of the bands logo advertising them in the middle of the contents page. In the bottom right corner there is another picture of a band member, this time from young guns, and also three thumbnail pictures of past or future magazine covers. These are advertising Kerrang magazine Delivery to your door for £6 a month. One main heading is in the centre of the contents page in the well-known ‘Kerrang’ font saying ‘ Kerrang! This week”, the other heading is at the top stating that it is a contents page with the issue date below that in a subtitle. On the main picture there is a subtitle with the band’s name and page number.  In total there are nine subtitles breaking up different sections of the magazine contents into sections such as; Feedback, News, Swag, Live reviews, Features, New, Album reviews, Gig Guide and Famous Last words.

Big Cheese only has one picture on their entire contents page – of Ozzy Osborne-, it is on the bottom right and takes up a quarter of the page. They have two main headlines, the name of the magazine and a headline saying ‘regular’. Just like Kerrang magazine there is a piece on the contents page written by the editor but unlike Kerrang they don’t have a picture of the editor to accompany it. Underneath the headline ‘Big cheese’ there is a subtitle of the issue number with a list of staff of the magazine such as; Feature editor, Editor, Reviews Editor, Fashion Editor, Live Editor, Design and a comedic  title of ‘Honorary Pisshead’. Each have Email addresses below them.  They mention more staff of the magazine such as; Senior/Contributing Photographers, Us Correspondents, Contributing Writers and Senior wordsmiths, these are all listed below the editors.  Then below the staff list there is an address of the magazine and a telephone number to contact them. Also there is a Copyright disclaimer. On the left side of the magazine contents page there is all so a website, a my space page and a Facebook page to look Big Cheese magazine up on. Underneath that there is subscription information and then added on to the end of the list there is information on the Distribution.
